There was a minor upset in San Salvador where 5th rankedSalvadorenos (2-2) were defeated by eighth ranked Santa Ana (2-2) 80-76 on Tuesday. Santa Ana made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American forward Sean Scott (190-1997, college: Pfeiffer) who had a double-double by scoring 24 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. His fellow American import forward Bryce Fitzgerald (203, college: OUAZ, agency: Fully Feared Sports) chipped in 25 points and 5 rebounds. Naturalized Mali power forward Ibrahima Traore (208-2005) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds and Diego Rivera (-2007) added 14 points and 6 assists respectively for the hosts. Four Salvadorenos players scored in double figures. Salvadorenos' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Santa Ana moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Cojute and Salvadorenos.
